If I had a dime for every time I've heard someone say they'd like to kill the prez, or for that matter, any number of our more egregious, ignorant and offensive politicians (a wholly subjective matter, to be sure), I'd be rich beyond my wildest dreams.
Hell, if they really want to remove some violent, severely mentally ill folks from our streets, they ought to head on over to the Free Republic and peruse the posts there for as long as they can stand it without projectile vomiting their last three days of meals, then begin tracking ip's....
Now let me be crystal clear here, because in this day and age of fasci....errrr, "homeland protection," and in case there are federalies, CIA, Blackwater, or Gitmo guards watching my step: I want everyone to understand completely that I in no way, shape or form advocate, condone, support or approve of anyone killing anyone else, regardless of how moronic their behavior may be.
Mentally ill homeless man sentenced to nearly 5 years for threatening Bush

TAMPA, Florida: A mentally ill homeless man will serve 57 months in federal prison for threats he made against President George W. Bush.
Timothy Wade Pinkston threatened in August to shoot Bush. At the time, the 48-year-old was committed to a hospital psychiatric unit.
Court records say he repeated the threat to Secret Service agents, saying he did not like the president's foreign policy or his handling of the Iraq war.
Pinkston told a federal judge on Wednesday that he is HIV-positive and bipolar and has a substance abuse problem. He said he had been taking drugs and drinking when he made the threat and did not know what he was saying.
He was previously charged with threatening the president in 1991 and also sent threatening letters to the governor of Georgia.
