Juveniles charged in attacks on homeless men
ROCKFORD, Ill. - An eleven-year-old boy and a 16-year-old teen have been charged in several attacks on homeless men in downtown Rockford.The pair, who have not been identified, are being held in Juvenile Detention on charges of robbery and mob action. Police allege the two are part of a larger group of young people who have been targeting homeless men, attacking them and stealing their valuables. Authorities say two men were attacked within minutes of each other on July 27th, and one was hospitalized after being pushed to the ground and kicked by up to five young men.
