Gee, ya think? I know of one halfway house specifically established for sex offenders that will have to close under this law, since there are six men living there presently. Prior to their admission into this home, these guys were all on the street and had no address to speak of, other than the Campus for Human Development, which is where they received their mail.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A new law limiting the number of sex offenders living in Tennessee halfway houses may make it tougher for them to find places to live.
The measure signed by Gov. Phil Bredesen last week forbids more than two registered sex offenders from living in the same residence.
The Tennessean reports that out of the 62 halfway houses listed on the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole's website, only six take sex offenders.
Four of those are in Middle Tennessee and the other two are in Memphis.
Probation and Parole spokeswoman Melissa McDonald acknowledges the law will present some challenges for that particular offender population, but she says the agency's officers will do what they can to help those individuals.
