Operation Stand Down Nashville opened its doors yesterday and invited the public in for an Open House to show off the new digs and let the good people of Nashville know what we're doing behind those walls.
The event was very well attended, with folks from a number of different agencies and organizations attending. The food was plentiful, thanks to the talented hands of Front Desk wizard Richard Eaton, and the place looked as spiffy as a boot camp barracks right before inspection!
We are all extremely proud of our new home, but more importantly, we are proud of the things we are able to do for those veterans who put their lives on the line defending all of us. It's what gets me up off my butt every day and sends me fighting into rush hour traffic to get to my office.If you came to visit us, thank you so much for stopping by!
