Locally, she is trying to persuade owners of abandoned homes to allow them to be renovated for homeless families. Denmark has walked down U.S. 1 in Riviera Beach and will stay in the city for the next week looking at property. Her next stops are West Palm Beach and Delray Beach, Denmark said she has already walked 3,280 miles in 78 months.
