A Hat-Tip To A Homeless Candidate

As I was scouring the election results, only one person really held my personal interest. Steve Reiter, a Homeless candidate, ran for the at-large council seat here in Nashville and while he finished second to last (2238/0.65%) in a field of 26 contenders, it takes tremendous devotion and dedication to carry out a campaign while Homeless. That Steve was able to garner almost eight times as many votes as mayoral candidate Kenneth Eaton says volumes about voter opinions of both candidates and I want to personally thank Steve Reiter for giving it a shot. Better luck next time, Steve-o!
